Jose Mourinho was happy for Romelu Lukaku after the struggling striker got on the scoresheet in their 2-1 comeback over CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.
The goal was the £75m hitman’s second goal in 13 games after starting the season with 11 in 10.
Lukaku cancelled out Vitinho’s freakish opener in the 64th minute as he knocked home Paul Pogba’s pass.
Marcus Rashford made sure United finished top of Group A with a goal just seconds later.
And Jose says of Lukaku: “If I were to choose goalscorers, I would always choose the strikers because their confidence always depends on goals.
“But [Romelu] Lukaku. If he can score his goal and feel the happiness of strikers who always want to score goals, then great. But I am always happy with Romelu.”
