Jose Mourinho believes that Manchester United’s legendary Class of 92 are behind the “manhunt” to get him out at Old Trafford.
Jose’s close pal Eladio Parames revealed in Portuguese newspaper Record that the owners of Salford City are behind the campaign.
Parames wrote: “It is the money-man from Singapore who is managing, controlling and supporting this campaign [why do you think Mourinho has made reference to a manhunt?] trying to discredit the man from Setubal and then buy the club.”
Parames is referring to Peter Lim, who along with outspoken Jose critic Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Ryan Giggs and Gary and Phil Neville, own the fifth-tier English club.
To make matters worse, Italian media claims that United have contacted Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as they look for a replacement.
