Everton have completed the signing of Brazilian winger
Richarlison from Watford on a five-year contract.
The Toffees didn't disclose the transfer fee in announcing the deal
on Tuesday, though Sky Sports reported it was about 40 million pounds
(53 million dollars).
The 21-year-old Brazilian becomes the first signing for new manager
Marco Silva, who coached him at Watford last season.
"I think it is going to be important for me here to be with Marco
Silva again," Richarlison said.
"I developed really well with him while he was with me at Watford."
Richarlison joined Watford from Fluminense prior to last season and
had scored goals in his first 12 games but none after that.
"He is one more player who can help us," Silva said.
"He is a good player who will make our team and our squad more
competitive.
"Evertonians will see a player who will be 100 per cent committed to
helping our team always."
