Egypt beat their visitors 3-0 and move to the 2019 Afcon Under-23 final and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in style.
The Olympic Pharaohs scored three times after the break to secure their place in next year’s Olympics and set a date against Cote d’Ivoire in the final on Friday.
South Africa will face Ghana on the third-place play-off and the last Olympics ticket at the tournament will be at stake.
