AFTER impressing their boss Hugo Broos in last week’s goalless draw with Tanzania, Bafana Bafana’s youngsters want to do more of the same against Mozambique tonight.
Broos’s manskappe will take the field at the Peter Mokaba Stadium tonight at 7.30pm without the bulk of their key players.
With the country’s Mamelodi Sundowns stars currently in the USA where they’ll come face to face with the world’s best in the World Club Cup, it’s the best of the rest that will be out to strut their stuff.
One of the more experienced players in the squad, midfielder Luke le Roux who has seven caps to his name after debuting in 2022, says the ouer manne in the squad will just pass on the message that was given to them when they started out for the national team.

IFK Värnamo says: “As you can see probably from the outside as well is that Bafana Bafana are doing really well at the moment. And that’s not only on pitch, you can see we are a family off the pitch as well and that’s really nice to see and nice to be part of.
“We have told the new players what we were told when we came in and that’s just to do your best and the rest will take care of itself.”
Coach Hugo Broos, meanwhile, encouraged the players to dala what they must ahead of the Tanzania game, wysing: “On the pitch at training, I see a very motivated group, a group that is aware of the opportunity they have got to play for the national team and a group that also knows that with the opportunity they have got now, they have to try and grab it with both hands.”
