Benni McCarthy has challenged his Cape Town City team to continue their goalscoring form that has seen them go unbeaten in 2019.
They face off against SuperSport United in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup after scoring eight goals in three games.
One of those goals came in a 1-0 win over Matsatsantsa in the first game of the year, before smashing five past Free State Stars in their last outing.
And Benni wants to see the growing confidence his team is showing play out on the pitch when they meet SuperSport at Cape Town Stadium on Saturday at 8.15 pm.
The legendary former Bafana Bafana striker says: “We are always working on scoring goals.
“We always start the week with patterns to get the team attacking as a unit and defending too.

“Everyone needs to be comfortable in front of goal.
"And it’s coming through. So hopefully that run continues.
“We can’t be satisfied with one goal.”
Despite getting the better of their opponents last time out, Benni warns that the Tshwane side will be a different beast with Dean Furman and Yeye Letsholonyane returning to the midfield and hitman Bradley Grobler fit again
.
With dangerous youngsters Aubrey Modiba and Teboho Mokoena also in the mix, Benni says they have “some big hitters”.
Benni will be without influential midfield duo Thabo Nodada and Austrian Roland Putsche, but he believes the likes of Teko Modise and Thato Mokeke more than makeup for their absence.
And he reckons the visitors will have their own concerns when they face City.

Benni says: “The last three games, we’ve come out smiling after every game.
“So confidence wise, we know what we are about and they have to worry.
“You name me a bigger name in the league than Teko Modise.
“I can’t be too sad about not having them available.”
With the MTN8 title under their belts, the Nedbank would be a nice double.
But Benni writes that off, saying: “We need to compete consistently. We focus on SuperSport. The cup final is on Saturday.
"Then we’ll turn our attention to the next game.”
