Springbok captain Siya Kolisi believes we will see a lot more of Sharks scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba in the future.
Like the rest of South Africa’s rugby fans, Kolisi will also be watching on the telly when Super Rugby Unlocked kicks off this weekend – with the Stormers having a bye in the first round.
After playing alongside Nohamba for the Springbok Green side in their 25-9 win over Gold on the weekend, Kolisi will keep a close eye on the 21-year-old when the Sharks face the Lions in the tournament opener on Friday night.
Kolisi says of Nohamba: “He was really good, he’s got lots of energy and one thing I really like about him is he’s not scared to take control on the field.
“He’s quick, he lets the ball go quickly… and I am sure we will see a lot more from him in the Currie Cup where he will stand out a lot more as one of the leaders in the Sharks team.
“I am looking forward to seeing him and all the other young guns.”
