Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba believes they don’t have the “right tactic” after their 4-2 Premier League defeat at Leicester.
The Frenchman’s comments will turn up the heat on coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who already pissed off another star in Cristiano Ronaldo by playing him off the bench in their draw to Everton in their last match and drew criticism from club icon Alex Ferguson.
Pogba says: “To be honest, we have been having these kinds of games for a long time.
“We have not found the problem, conceding easy goals, stupid goals. The players need... to play with arrogance in a good way. We need... to change.
“We need to find the right mentality and the right tactic.”
United started well on at King Power Stadium on Saturday, as Mason Greenwood scored with a thunderbolt after 19 minutes, but captain Harry Maguire was robbed of the ball as Youri Tielemans hit back for the hosts with a delightful shot from the edge of the area in the 31st minute.
Die ding started to ruk with 12 minutes to play when Caglar Soyuncu put the Foxes back in front when he reacted quicker than Maguire to tap home a loose ball.
But Marcus Rashford ran on to a Victor Lindelof long ball to make it 2-2 in the 82nd.
Jamie Vardy had other gedagtes and reclaimed the lead moments later when he smashed home a cross, while Patson Daka evaded the hapless Maguire to prod home at the far post.
Stung by defeat, Solskjaer says: “We need to look at the whole set-up and balance of the team and maybe something has to give.”
