GLADDEBEK: Tabai Matson

The Crusaders have won their last seven encounters against the Lions.

And assistant coach Tabai Matson believes they will draw from this confidence in their Super Rugby quarterfinal clash at Ellis Park this weekend.

Matson tells Stuff New Zealand: “The psyche is a really important part and I think having success over there - we have won the last seven against the Lions which means nothing on Saturday night - but the boys will be really positive about delivering after the flight.”

Matson also believes Lions coach Johan Ackermann made a mistake by not playing a full-strength side against the Jaguares last weekend.

He adds: “Is that an advantage? I am not sure about that…”
