Stormers No.8 Nizaam Carr is loving life in the England and is not in a hurry to come back to South Africa.

With reports suggesting that Duane Vermeulen might return to the Cape Town setup, Carr, who has six months left on his Newlands contract, has hit the ground running for his new club Wasps.

But alongside fellow South Africans Juan de Jongh, Willie le Roux and Ashley Johnson in the Wasps squad, Carr has taken to life in England like a duck to water.
He tells the Telegraph: “The situation is I have got a contract with the Stormers for six months.
“But after the second week I loved it down here.
“I’m really enjoying it and I’m looking forward to this part of my journey and what’s going to
happen after those six months.”

Of the style of play in Europe, he adds: “I must say the Premiership is extremely physical.
“You’ve got a lot of boys running straight at you, whereas in Super Rugby they might put a pass in or someone will step and you’ve got those options to defend against.
“I enjoy the physical part of the game too. I’m not a guy who will shy away from the physicality, I like getting stuck in.”
