Lions and Springbok flyhalf Elton Jantjies is grateful for some down time.
While it’s not under the best of circumstances, with the Super Rugby season suspended due to the coronavirus health crisis, the World Cup winner is keeping fit and enjoying his family.
Of staying fit, the former Stormer loanee tells IOL: “I’ve luckily got some stuff at home to train with, but I did have to buy some new weights the other day. We’re all in contact with our coaches and the team doctor and I also have a personal coach who helps me with my boxing.”
After spending months away from this family on tour and in Japan over the course of last year, Jantjies is drukking X-Box with his three sons at home and says it's a blessing.
He adds: “I spent so much time away from home last year.
“My wife [Iva] had an incident a while ago, so it’s a blessing I can be with her now. I’m also spending time with my boys [three of them], which is nice.

“When I got home from New Zealand the other day I noticed they’d got an X-Box while I was on tour, so I’ll probably do some gaming with them in the days ahead.”
