STORMERS prop Neethling Fouche is looking forward to swapping nappy duty to help his team make the Cardiff scrum cry in Friday's 7pm United Rugby Championship clash at Cape Town Stadium.
Fouche missed his Kaapse span’s last three games after he got banned for a dangerous tackle in an away game against Ulster last month.
Part of his vier weke straf was to attend tackle school, but the tighthead prop says the most difficult thing was learning how to change nappies of his newborn after the missus put him to work.
Fouche explains: “It is nice to be out of the naughty corner. My wife certainly made use of it. A lot of nappies at home that had to be changed. She saw it as a chance for her to put me to work. But just all jokes aside, you just miss it.”

The front-rower is, however, thankful for his team not missing him too much as young front-rowers Sazi Sandi and Vernon Matongo put their hands up in his absence, with veteran prop Ali Vermaak also performing.
But now that he is back in the Stormers fold, Fouche says of bending some Cardiff backs at scrum-time: “I would say they have the strongest scrum out of all the Welsh clubs, with an all Welsh international front-row. Then there is one or two internationals coming back into the side, but, for us, it is just about building on what we have done [in terms of scrumming] over the last few weeks.”
However, Fouche is not underestimating the Welsh visitors and adds of Cardiff being a real threat: “We don’t like to reflect on the past, but Cardiff beat us last year and the season before...
“We won’t underestimate how desperate they will be to win here.
“This game will be a playoff for Cardiff, and we have seen they rested some of their big names and played them off the bench against the Bulls.”
