Cristiano Ronaldo soek nog goals after scoring a record 10th international hattrick and the 58th of his career as he extended his goals record to 115 strikes.
Ronaldo scored two first-half penalties and a late header as they cruised to a 5-0 World Cup European Qualifiers Group A win over minnows Luxembourg on Tuesday night.
It was the Manchester United hero’s 11th goal in 10 matches this season and a reminder to under fire coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he played CR7 off the bench in their last game – a 1-1 draw against Everton.
And with club teammate Bruno Fernandes also getting on the scoresheet in midweek, it’s a big boost for the Red Devils as they gear up for Leicester on the weekend.
Ronaldo wrote on social media: “I had promised that I would always be looking for more and more and more!
“It’s in my DNA and in our DNA, we’re never content...”
