Tokelo Rantie will have the perfect game to announce himself at Cape Town City this Saturday, when they host Kaizer Chiefs.
Teaming up with his old Orlando Pirates strike partner Benni McCarthy, the former Bucs duo will have some extra motivation to get one over Amakhosi.
And the 12-goal Bafana Bafana ace feels he finally has the right mentor with Benni as coach.
After moving back to SA from spells in England and Turkey, he tells IOL: “I still have a lot of desire to play football.
“I feel like I am now at the right club. Benni played a big role in my life, hence my decision to join Cape Town City.
“I’ve learnt a lot from him. I once made him a promise that I will play for him one day when he becomes a coach, so I’ve kept my word on that.”
