South Africa’s Royal Challengers Bangalore stars arrived in UAE over the weekend for the Indian Premier League and they can’t handle the heat.
Dale Steyn, who was joined by AB de Villiers and Chris Morris in Dubai, says they are struggling to breathe in the heat after arriving on Friday.
With a high of 41 degrees Celsius yesterday, Steyn says: “It’s going to be interesting to play in the heat.
“We got here like three in the morning and it was steaming outside.
“Looking forward to what’s it going to be like in a few weeks.”
Die manne have enough time to adjust, with the tournament only starting on September 19.
For now, it’s down to coronavirus testing, with De Villiers adding: “Travelling was bit different to normal but we made it here... I am looking forward to my Covid-19 test.”
