After already securing a home quarterfinal berth after their 22-3 win over the Force on Saturday, the match against the Kings will be sort of a dress rehearsal for the big one.

And it’s for this reason that coach Robbie Fleck will be happy to welcome back props Frans Malherbe (neck injury), JC Janse van Rensburg (knee injury) and Oli Kebble (knee injury) to training this week.

Commenting on the coming weeks, stand-in captain Schalk Burger can’t wait to get back home after two weeks in Oz and says: “If we play well, we should beat the Kings.

“It’s been a tough season so far, but looking forward to the playoffs.”

The Stormers, though, will have to make do without centre Daniel du Plessis, who suffered a concussion in the Force match, while Nizaam Carr will be assessed during the week.
