Cape Town City boss Eric Tinkler feels bad for his players after they were beaten 1-0 by Sekhukhune United in a game they should have won on Saturday.
City created more than enough chances to claim the points at Ellis Park, but goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata had other ideas.
Nsabata tipped over Thabo Nodada’s 18th-minute close-range volley and turned Mdu Mdantsane’s curler onto the post in the 30th minute as they peppered the promoted side’s goal.
But Chibuike Ohizu snuck in at the far post to tap home a shot-cum-pass to sucker punch City in the 51st minute.

And then Nsabata saved from Khayisa Mayo from pointblank range at the death.
Tinkler rued his luck at the end of the game, saying: “The boys did everything to score.
“We made so many great chances. We could have played 180 minutes without scoring.
“We’ve got to take this one on the chin and move on.”
