Pep Guardiola urged his Manchester City players to be perfect in a week in which they can book a first Champions League final and win the Premier League title.
City take a 2-1 lead into tonight’s European Cup semi-final second leg against Paris St Germain before facing Chelsea on Saturday, with a win clinching a third league title in four seasons.
And Guardiola says: “Everybody knows we are living something special.
“We are one step to be [Prem] champions again, three times in four years in this country something more than remarkable.
“And we will play in the semifinal in the Champions League [trying] to reach the final for the first time for this club.”
Having seen the shot at a quadruple blown in their FA Cup semifinal defeat to Chelsea last month, they still have a treble on the cards after winning the League Cup two weeks ago.
And Guardiola says they have to be wary of the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel di Maria in Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG tonight at Eastlands.
He says: “On Tuesday we have to play almost the perfect performance.
“We play the team with perhaps right now the most talented players upfront... it’s not just one or two. They can win the game with one single action.
“We have to be more aggressive with and without the ball and to win the game.
“We will try and make the best selection as possible and do a good game.”
