Springbok superstar Cheslin Kolbe will not be joining captain Siya Kolisi at the Sharks any time soon.
With both Kolbe and Kolisi being on the books of Jay-Z’s marketing company Roc Nation, who have entered into a partnership with the Sharks, it has been rumoured that Kolbe is on his way to Durban.
But Sharks CEO Eduard Coetzee denies making a move for the 27-year-old Toulouse ace.
When asked if Kolbe and England lock Maro Itoje, who is also on the books of Roc Nation, will join his squad, Coetzee tells East Coast Radio: “None of them are coming. If you look at our backline, you’d know that Sbu Nkosi and Makazole Mapimpi went in the same business class section to the World Cup.”
