Cape Town City midfielder Thabo Nodada is out to be the driving force in the team’s new PSL campaign.
The diminutive playmaker has a big heart and his influence on City’s game is so big that the 25-year-old is becoming a regular for Bafana Bafana now too.
Always out to improve his game, ahead of Saturday’s PSL opener against Chippa United at Cape Town Stadium his mission is to drive his team forward and help them impose their game on their opponents.
Asked how he is looking to lift his game, he says: “My dribbling. I’ve been trying to carry the ball a little bit longer than normal, trying to drive the team forward.
“It pins teams back and allows us to play our passing game in their half.
“Then our fullbacks can push up and our defenders can compress their space.
“It’s definitely that dribble, my main aim is to drive the team forward.”
