Former All Blacks yster Sonny Bill Williams says his laaities want to play for the Springboks one day.
Williams, a Kaapse favourite, is married to a South African wife and says Cape Town is his second home.
The former centre and his wife Alana Raffie have four children and Williams reveals that it’s no secret who they want to play for.
The 36-year-old says in an interview with Ruck: “Cape Town is my second home. Maybe one day my two boys might be playing in Green and Gold. They’ve told me that’s what they’d like.
“They love the Springboks.”
Williams played 58 Test matches for New Zealand between 2010 and 2019, before returning to Rugby League where he also played 12 matches for New Zealand before switching to union.
Williams is also a boxer, having beaten Waikato Falefehi in a fight last year.
