Chelsin Kolbe wants to be an option at flyhalf in whatever team he plays for.
The Springbok wing/fullback started in the No.10 jumper for Toulouse against Racing Metro two weeks ago and enjoyed being first receiver.
Asked of his future in this role, he tells IOL: “It’s been a shock to me as well, when the coach told me that I might have to fill in at flyhalf.
“I just literally told him, ‘Wherever you need me, I will do the best that I can for the team’.”
“So, I always do the best that I can. But I must say, I had a lot of fun playing 10.
“It was great being on flyhalf again after six, seven years. I literally felt like I was back at school on the field, just having fun like a normal schoolboy.”
