Jean-Luc du Plessis, Robert du Preez and Kurt Coleman are all injured, while the promising Damian Willemse is preparing for the U20 World Cup later this month with the Baby Boks.
But coach Robbie Fleck says he will turn to Dillyn Leyds to fill in at their crisis-hit No.10 position.
Plus he has veteran Joe Pietersen and young Brandon Thompson as back-up for Leyds.
Fleckie says: “There are a few players who are sticking up their hands for the position.
“Obviously we have Dillyn who filled that position for the last two games on the tour. And we’ve recalled Tomo [Thompson] from the Currie Cup side to join us for training this week.
And also we’ve got Joe Pietersen. He’s been training with us for most of the campaign. So we also have Joe available to us.
“It’s not easy. But Dillyn has been running the show on tour and he’s been with us the longest. “He knows how patterns, structures and systems the best. And so does Joe.
“Dillyn brings some unique skills to 10 and they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
“So we’ll pick the player best suited to the way we want to play. And gets our game rolling.”
