Bruno Fernandes is desperate to win a trophy with Manchester United after four straight semifinal defeats.
The Portugal ace has been United’s talisman since arriving in January 2020, leading the Red Devils to the League Cup, FA Cup and Europa League final four last season.
And they once again fell short in the League Cup semis against local rivals Manchester City this term.
That’s not good enough for United says Fernandes as he and his span gear up to host Granada in the Europa League quarterfinal first leg tomorrow night.
With only winning the title as an option, he says: “We can’t think of anything else at this club.
“United is made for trophies and the whole mood is around that.
“We reached the semis [of the League Cup] and lost to City, but that’s not enough.
“That wasn’t our time – we need to be in finals, and to win them.”
