New Borussia Dortmund starlet Ansgar Knauff is ready to haal uit en wys as he looks to help his team overturn a 2-1 deficit in tonight’s Champions League quarterfinal tie with Manchester City.
The 19-year-old German winger scored the winner in Saturday’s 3-2 win at Stuttgart – his first Bundesliga goal.
It capped a massive week for the youngster who has made just five senior appearances this season, including a first start in last week’s defeat to City and he says: “It’s been an unbelievable week for me with my debut in the starting XI and my first goal in the Bundesliga.
“Edin [Terzic] is a super coach. He always wants me to be brave and to play to my strengths.”
Meanwhile, captain Marco Reus and veteran defender Mats Hummels are doubts for the tie.
