Kings coach Peter de Villiers says it’s a sonde that former Sharks flyhalf Inny Radebe is not playing for a big rugby union in South Africa.
Radebe famously hit out against “a system that is so corrupted” in a rap song after his career at the Sharks didn’t go according to plan.
But now, at the age of 26, former Springbok coach De Villiers is about to give the pivot a second chance with the Eastern Cape franchise this season.
De Villiers tells the HeraldLive: “It is a sin in South African rugby that a guy like Inny isn’t playing for a big union.
“He is one of those gifted players who we simply have to make space for, so for me it is a privilege to allow him to direct my backline.”
