Leicester new boy Patson Daka says frustrating Napoli is key to winning their Europa League Group G opener tonight at 9pm.
The Zambian new signing has first-hand experience of facing the Italians after his former team RB Salzburg met the Neapolitans four times in 2019 – in the Europa League and Champions League.
And the striker reckons Brendan Rodgers’ manne have the right style to get the better of Luciano Spalletti’s side, who have a perfect winning record in Serie A this season.
Daka recalls: “It didn’t go our way mostly, so I’m looking forward to a new beginning with Leicester, and hopefully we can get a positive result.
“Every team has a weakness though, and we must make the most of that with our strengths.
“We’re good at keeping the ball, so that can frustrate teams.”
Boss Rodgers says he will continue using last season’s top goalscorer Kelechi Iheanacho as a substitute.
He explains: “What he’s doing is he’s making an impact...
“He’s a very important player for us, whether he comes into the game or whether he starts.”
