Things are not going well at Cricket South Africa (CSA).
Battling administrative issues, CSA announced on Sunday that they had to postpone their return to play.
Then it came to light that seven of their staff members all tested
positive for the coronavirus.
Acting CEO Jacques Faul confirmed to Sport24 that members tested positive and says: “Having conducted over 100 tests, the number of seven is actually quite low.”
In the interview, Faul also revealed that Centurion Park was a hiccup in their plans to host the Solidarity Cup this coming
weekend.
After admitting that they were oorhaastig in announcing a date for the match, Faul says: “We can’t play in a hot-spot, but we are
continuing to work closely with government to find a way back onto the field.”
