India cruised to a seven-wicket win over South Africa in the second T20I in Mohali on Wednesday.
The win means the host took an unassailable 1-0 lead in the three-match series after the first match rained out.
India won the toss and decided to send their hosts in to bat first.
Reeza Hendricks and captain Quinton de Kock faced the new ball.
With De Kock scoring freely on the other end, Hendricks mis-timed a Deepak Chahar ball straight into the hands of Washington Sundar with his score on 6.
Temba Bavuma then joined forces with De Kock (52 off 37 balls) and the duo took the score from 31 to 88, before Virat Kohli took a superb catch off the bowling of Navdeep Saini to get rid of the latter.
SA could only add 61 runs in the eight overs after their skipper was sent packing, with Bavuma losing his wicket for 49 runs.

Chasing the Proteas’ 149/5, India got off to a flying start thanks to openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
After scoring 30 runs in the first 10 overs, Andile Phehlukwayo trapped Sharma leg before for 12.
But India captain Kohli then strolled to the crease and with Dhawan at the other end, they took the game away from their visitors.
The pair shared a 61-run stand for the second wicket before Dhawan (40) was superbly caught by David Miller off the bowling of Tabraiz Shamsi.

Bjorn Fortuin then also took his first international wicket - that of Rishabh Pant for four.
But Kohli powered to 72 not out off 52 balls, as India got the winning total with an over to spare.
The Proteas square off against India in Bengaluru for the second test on Sunday.
