Teammates at the World Cup in May, some Proteas players will go head to head on Thursday to knock each other out of the domestic One Day Cup.
Coach Ashwell Prince’s Cape Cobras travel to SuperSport Park to face the table-topping Titans in what is a mouthwatering affair.
Leading the Cobras into battle will be Proteas allrounder JP Duminy.
And while the Capetonians will have to make-do without superstar batsman Hashim Amla, who has been given leave because of family commitments, they will look to old hands Vernon Philander and Rory Kleinveldt to give them the edge in the bowling department.

On the batting front, it will be up to the tournament’s leading runs-scorer Janneman Malan (with 435 runs) and wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne in third with 388 runs to date, to get them on the front foot.
Facing them is a star-studded Titans team led by Proteas opener Dean Elgar.
With Aiden Markram in the form of his life, scoring 393 runs in just three matches, at the top of their order, the Titans also have ex-Cobras star Dale Steyn and Proteas spinner Tabraiz Shamsi available for the clash.
