The Cape Cobras’ 4-Day Series clash with the Titans at Centurion Park is headed for a draw.
Entering the final day of the encounter, the Cobras are on 28/0, trailing their hosts by one run.
This after the Titans were bowled out for 440 runs yesterday to take a 29-run first-innings lead after the Cobras had scored 411 batting first.
Proteas opener Aiden Markram showed good form with bat in hand, scoring 113 runs after resuming the day on 80.
His overnight partner Neil Brand also got to the century mark, scoring 115 runs as the Titans gradually took the game away from the Cobras.
Calvin Savage starred with ball in hand for the Cobras, claiming bowling figures of 5/77, while Corbin Bosch and Ziyaad Abrahams bagged two wickets each.
Jonathan Bird (19*) and Pieter Malan (12*) will take guard when play resumes today.
