Cape Town City have sealed the deal on leftback Terrence Mashego.
The 22-year-old arrived on a three-year deal from PSL rivals TS
Galaxy on Friday, effectively replacing Ebrahim Seedat, who moved the other way last week.
Mashego comes with a big reputation, having helped the then-second-tier club lift the Nedbank Cup last season after a fairytale run to the final before stunning Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the decider.
The club announced his arrival, tweeting: “Cape Town City is delighted to announce the acquisition of 22-year old defender, Terrence Mashego.”
He will compete for the leftback position with Mozambique international Edmilson Dove and his training with the team ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal trip to Orlando Pirates this Saturday.
