West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen says he is not yet the finished article.
Bowen, who has scored one goal and assisted two in eight games for the Hammers so far this season, is hungry to add to that tally when they host Genk in the Europa League tonight at 9pm.
With coach David Moyes’ Londoners currently at the top of Group H after two wins from two, the 24-year-old Bowen says: “There is still a lot of improvement in me.
“I’m not the finished article yet and I feel I’m improving game by game and am performing better this season than I did last season, so constantly improving is the key for me.”
He adds: “We are performing well in Europe and we want to have a good run in that and give the fans that as well.”
The Prem’s other Europa League team, Leicester, Tuesday beat Spartak Moscow 4-3 with Zambian ace Patson Daka scoring all of the Foxes’ goals.
