Chelsea are reportedly involved in “intense” talks over the £170m signing of striking sensation Erling Haaland.
The Champions League winners are determined to land a prolific marksman to boost their chase for trophies next season after a low return from their strikers, with midfielder Jorginho top-scoring in the Premier League campaign with his seven penalty goals.
Haaland’s club Borussia Dortmund have already made it clear that they will not sell the 20-year-old Norwegian hotshot in the coming off-season.
But that hasn’t stopped the Blues’ dealmaker Marina Granovskaia and owner Roman Abramovich from trying to tempt the German giants with a big-money offer and £40m-rated England striker Tammy Abraham.
According to claims in the UK Sun, Haaland is receiving plenty of encouragement from agent Mino Raiola to consider the move to Chelsea and the Premier League.
They report that the laaitie could be in line for a huge £300 000-a-week salary at Stamford Bridge.
