GOAL HERO: SA's Riyaad Norodien

Coach Stuart Baxter made seven changes to the side that lost 1-0 to Tanzania in the Cup quarterfinal on Sunday.

And while the result was different, the performance didn’t really improve.

Once again, Orlando Pirates winger Riyaad Norodien was a class above his teammates.

And it was the 22-year-old who got the opening goal of the match.

He was a joy to watch as he put the finishing touch on a great passing move, curling his shot across the goalkeeper from outside the box with a first-time shot with the outside of his boot.

Still, Bafana were sloppy in possession and could have been punished if the Zebras had been more ruthless when testing rookie Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma.

Bvuma passed a test by tipping over a Botswana piledriver in the 68th minute.

But frustrations boiled over and coach Baxter was sent to the stands by the referee after things got rof in the 82nd minute when Mohau Mokate was stretchered off after a foul.

Judas Moseamedi scored in added time to book Bafana's place in the Cosafa Cup Plate final on Friday, stroking home an easy chance after being played in by Maritzburg winger Lebohang Maboe.
