“You wake up before doing anything, switch on the laptop and hope to see whether there’s any communique from the league.
“You then respond to emails and/or WhatsApp messages from players and other stakeholders.”
That’s the easy part, but the former Safa Western Cape general secretary says the experience gained from running things at the football provincial office has helped him adjust.
He adds: “It’s not too different, most of the things are the same.
“The difference now is that I’m sitting on the other side. You have to keep the technical staff and club owners informed.
“Right now for instance, we are
following up on venues as we are looking for a venue to train when and if football resumes.
“The City of Cape Town has closed its facilities.”
