With only one win in four outings, pressure is mounting on Waratahs coach Rob Penney as they gear up to host the Reds tomorrow.
Asked whether he still enjoys coaching the struggling team, the New Zealander tells the tournament’s website: “S**t yeah.
“Great group of young men... but in terms of my enjoyment, the boys are fantastic, they’re committed, they’re working as hard as anybody that I’ve worked with and they’re putting in the hard yards, too, to try and get the outcomes that we all need...
“We’re trying to win every week.
“We’ve been trying to win every week since day one. Nothing changes to that end.
“You’re going to have fluctuations... blips on occasion, but we’re trying to win every week.”
The Tahs are fourth on the five-team table, with the Reds in second place with two wins from four.
In the other AU clash, the first-placed Brumbies travel to the Rebels in third.
