It's time Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba broke up.
The Manchester United manager and the club’s star man are never going to get along and one of them should leave Old Trafford.
It’s just that the club’s
bosses can’t decide where they should cut their losses.
United should know that Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola are world-class s***-
stirrers.
The laaitie packed his bags in 2012 after falling out with Alex Ferguson and headed for Juventus, where he became one of the most sought-after players in the world.
Back then the Frenchman was pissed off with the fact that, even though United had limited stocks in midfield,
Fergie refused to give the youngster a chance.
Instead, the great Scot went against his usual instinct to blood a promising kid and call up another Paul - Paul Scholes who had already retired.
Back then Fergie said it was because of Raiola and famously called the agent a s*** bag.
But four years later, United brought Pogba and his smelly baggage back for a then-world record deal - the £100m was divided into £89m for Juve and the rest for Raiola.
Jose was the man who signed him and has never figured out how to handle his biggest asset, with the pair’s botsing getting more and more intense this week - even after France boss Didier Deschamps showed everyone that the midfielder is a world beater on the left side of a midfield trio.
Pogba and his agent knew that they had the world at their feet. And with a World Cup in the trophy cabinet, PP6 could pick his spot in the team.
But not with the Special One. And Jose is a special kind of thick or stubborn if he can’t get Pogba to play, create and
entertain.
Isn’t that what the United fans demand? Isn’t Pogba the man who will make United play the United way again?
Not according to Jose.
The dikbek coach sucks the joy out of his team.
He has made Old Trafford a place where fans from around world go to watch the Red
Devils draw with Wolves, get a 3-0 pak slae from Tottenham and get knocked out of cups by the Derbys of this world.
If it was just Pogba unhappy and under-performing, I’d say sell him to the highest bidder and let him do what he wants some other place.
But, it’s not just Pogba. There are Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford - all thrilling attacking talents - who are scapegoated by Jose.
He not only parks the bus, but he also likes to throw his own players under it.
Jose’s Plan B is the unlikely Marouane Fellaini.
If they need a goal, the plan is to hit it long and hope the hemelbesem Belgian can head home. He is even called on when they are under attack.
It’s early in the season, but United are already looking like slipping further off the title challengers this campaign.
Jose se bussie se wiele is pap and Pogba wants out. Just let him go and let him bring some joy to his fans.
