The Super League B takes a break on Saturday.
But what great action we had last weekend.
It was poetry in motion in Bellville as Hamlets proved that they should be taken seriously in their quest to play in Super League A.
For a number of seasons now, the team from Mamre has pushed for promotion to the top flight.
They have, however, been unable to get that fairytale ending they are looking for.
This year’s team, though, has what it takes to go all the way and after 11 games, they are currently second on the log.
Travelling to Bellville, it was expected to be a tough outing for Hamlets against a team that is also challenging for to honours.

Maar Hamlets het gewys dat hulle nie sommer van hier rond is nie and proved why they are a team that is feared - winning the match 33-19 to hand their hosts only their third defeat of the season.
Their achievement was, unfortunately for the club, eclipsed by that of Kuilsrivier.
Running riot against All Saints in front of their own fans, Kuila took top spot in Super League B heading into the break with a superb 33-19 win.
In another top half of the table clash, Belhar was no match for St Georges in Strand.
The 29-19 win for St Georges means they are now one point behind Belhar on the log, but importantly still in the top-six spot for the playoffs at the end of the season.

A look at the bottom half of the log, Rangers will be kicking themselves after yet another defeat last weekend.
Up against Macassar in Macassar, Rangers gave their hosts a proper run for their money before ultimately going down 34-31.
It now looks like Rangers will go down to Super League C at the end of the season, unless they saved their best for last and start winning matches to avoid the drop.
That’s exactly what Young Peoples have done this past weekend.
Second from bottom on the log, Peoples upped their game at home to beat Vineyards 19-7. And with only one point separating them and the two teams above them, they will hope that this is the start of some sort of resurrection.
Still a lot to play for when league action resumes next week.
