Only five points separate the top team, Franschhoek, from the sixth-placed team, Primrose, in Super League B.
That’s how competitive this league is and the run-in to the playoffs couldn’t have been more exciting.
And with Franschhoek having a bye this weekend, joint-leaders Paarl have a chance to take pole position on their own when they meet All Saints at Faure Stadium.
The big clash of the Super League B weekend, though, takes place at Rosmead where Primrose host Kuilsrivier.
The Roses have been in good form of late and had to pull out all the stops to get the better of All Saints last weekend, beating them 31-30 in the end.
Kuila, too, had a narrow escape at home to Collegians, ultimately bagging the log points with a 23-18 scoreline.
Wins for Kuilsrivier in this encounter, Helderberg in their match away at Hands and Heart, Bellville in their clash against with Hamlets in Mamre and Paarl might see the current leaders, Franschhoek, drop down to fifth on the log before they return to action next week.
All first team games kick off at 4pm
