Lukas Muller and Lucian Cupido both scored two tries as Paarl made their stem dik in their Super League B clash against Helldeberg last weekend.
The Paarliete claimed a 48-6 victoryo jump to the top of the log after five outings.
Confidence at the club are high at the moment, with their second team also topping the log in their division - meaning depth will not be an issue for Paarl this year.
But Muller and his teammates have their work cut out again this weekend when they travel to second-placed Kuilsrivier.
Having enjoyed a bye last weekend, Kuila are unbeaten after five outings this year and will have to defend their turf with all their might if they wish to keep the status quo.
Franschhoek, meanwhile, also bagged a big win on the weekend, trashing All Saints 62-14.
The win lifted Franschhoek to fourth on the log as their players will enjoy a well-earned bye this coming weekend.
One team that can’t afford to rest on their laurels is Rangers.
Currently at the foot of the log with no wins from three games after going down 36-41 to Hamlets, they host Helderberg on Saturday in a match where both teams will be hungry to get the “W”.
