You couldn’t have asked for a better climax in this year’s Super League B tournament.
With two rounds left to go, the leaders are running neck and neck.
But they will be separated on Saturday in Kuilsrivier when the log leaders host second-placed Hamlets for the top spot.
With both teams entering the match high on confidence, after Kuila beat Rangers 46-26 last weekend and Hamlets getting the better of fifth-placed St Georges 31-26, this is sure to be a cracker of a game.
Elsewhere, Helderberg still has an outside chance of making the top six.
For that to happen they have to beat Goodwood, who has proven to be a tough opponent this year, with a bonus point on Saturday.
Still, that won’t be enough to get them into sixth spot, with Belhar, who has played one more game than they have, visiting Busy Bees.
The men from Belhar will go all-out for a bonus-point win in that encounter.
Vineyards is the other team pushing for a top-six spot and with a superior points difference to both Belhar (who they have a game in hand against) and Helderberg a bonus-point win over St Georges will set them up well heading into the final round.
St Georges, though, will be a tough nut to crack, as the fifth-placed side still with everything to play for.
