Super League B fans were starved off action this past weekend with only match match taking place in this competition.
But what a match it was, as Franschhoek hosted Helderberg.
Bagging a 25-12 win in the encounter, the home side are now at the top of the SLB log, having won four of their five games.
When they do return to action next week, they face a tricky tie in Mamre where they will cross swords with the all-running team of Hamlets.
As for Helderberg, they lost their last two matches after winning the first three and will be concerned about their recent downturn in form.
The off week, though, will do them well as they look to bounce back with a win over struggling Belhar when action resumes next week.
