Bobby smaaks a super car with a bit of art to it, so when he saw this straightforward but striking Lexus he had to know more.
The LFA V10 supercar was given a once-off treatment by Portuguese artist Pedro Henriques, who transformed the exterior with a kwaai black-and-white theme. Lexus will unveil the art car to celebrate the debut of its RC F GT3 contender in the Total 24 Hours of Spa endurance race.
Henriques has a marvellously arty way of describing the inspiration for his creation, saying it “was the idea of fluidity present in the contemporary life, where things are in constant movement and it’s hard to freeze anything I hope to express a feeling where the car becomes a less defined shape, in constant mutation in its movement”.
That’s next level design-speak. Only three of the now-classic LFAs were ever brought to SA.
