Such is the appeal in the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) market, that Rolls Royce of all things has started deliveries of their own rather bespoke interpretation.
Imagine that, a super-luxury all-terrain Rolls.
Dubbed the Cullinan (like the diamond), the high-end British car maker’s SUV is it’s largest ever model and is proving popular with its ultra-rich clientele. Starting at $325 000 (around R4.8 million), the output is booked solid until the last quarter of the year.
As an aside, one was just yesterday delivered to an unnamed customer at the Cullinan mine.
The Rolls is powered by a twin-turbo 6.75-litre V12 monster plant and permanent four-wheel drive delivering 420kW and 850nM of torque.
