Ingredients
- 250g butter or margarine
- 11/2 cups of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups of cake flour
- 3 tbsp cocoa
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 11/2 cups dessicated coconut
- A pinch of salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Whisk the butter and the sugar until the mixture is light.
Add the eggs and mix well.
Sift the flour, baking powder, cocoa together.
Add the dessicated coconut and pinch of salt to these dry ingredients.
Mix all the ingredients together into a firm dough.
Roll out the dough on a flat surface, making lines lengthwise through the rolled out delight.
Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make those gorgeous hearts and bake for 12 mins.
