FAVOURATE: Chicken and cream tagliatelle


250g tagliatelle

1 medium onion, finely chopped

45ml oil

25ml crushed garlic

2 chillies, chopped

4 tomatoes, finely chopped

15ml tomato paste

500g chicken fillet, cooked and sliced in strips

250ml fresh cream

10ml paprika

salt and pepper to taste

Cook pasta till al dente. Heat oil and onion. Sauté until soft. Stir in garlic, chillies, tomatoes and tomato paste. Allow to simmer for 20-30min. Stir in chicken, add paprika and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add sugar if necessary. Heat pasta with cream in a separate pot and season with salt. Place pasta in a serving bowl. Top with chicken sauce. Garnish with parsley sprigs.
