Ingredients
- 1 medium snoek
- 4 medium onions
- 1 green pepper
- 100ml vinegar
- Sugar to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp dried chillies
- Fish masala
- Pickled fish spice
- Fish oil to fry
Directions
Slice up the onions and the green pepper and put in a pot with the water, then steam like this for 20 minutes.
Now add the vinegar, sugar, salt and pickled fish spices and simmer.
When the sauce is nice and thick, turn down the heat and allow to cool.
For your fish, salt and spice with the fish masala and then fry on both sides in a medium heated pan with oil.
Layer the fish into a bowl with the pickled gravy.
Allow to rest for a day or two in the fridge before eating.
