Cape clubs have a crazy busy schedule in the GladAfrica Championship over the next week.
Steenberg United sat out the opening weekend, with Cape Umoya and Cape Town Spurs winning their matches while Cape Town All Stars drew.
Umoya cause isivungu-vungu at Kabokweni Stadium, beating TS Sporting 3-2 on Saturday afternoon with Christopher Sekela, Roscoe Pietersen and Edson Khumalo all getting on the scoresheet.
They are up against Free State Stars today at Parow Park Stadium.
The day before, Cape Town Spurs marked their rebirth with a 1-0 win over Polokwane City at the Cape Town Stadium, with Riyaad Norodien scoring the historic goal in that match.
They travelled to Chatsworth Stadium to face Royal AM on Tuesday and played to a goalless draw.
Cape Town All Stars, who have also been reborn, were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against JDR Stars at Parow Park Stadium.
They will surely be looking for a victory at Richards Bay Sports Stadium to visit Richards Bay today.
Steenberg United played their opening match of the season against TS Sporting at Idas Valley Sports Ground in Stellenbosch.
And this weekend Cape Umoya and Steenberg United are the highlight in a city rivalry at Parow Park Stadium on Saturday, while CT All Stars are away against Uthongathi FC at Princess Magogo Stadium that same day.
