Thank you so much to the residents of Parkwood, who called police when they saw a thief trying to break into a local primary school.
He was caught on the school premises before he could do any damage, just days before schools re-opened last week.
I can just imagine kids having to return to vandalised classrooms and no equipment.
I especially appreciated this comment from one of the angry residents: “We had enough of our children suffering and living in fear. Education is their ticket out of here and we will be damned if these varke are going to mess with that.”
It is a strong sentiment that needs to be spread and acted upon jealously.
There truly is a lot of opportunity out there for our kids, if we can only get them skilled and prepared. So we need to guard the structures which build those skills that will secure a bright future for them. And our schools are the best examples of that.
I am going to do my bit by regularly writing about the future skills our kids can acquire their tickets out of the ghetto. You just keep on piemping those varke!
